Can I visit the Discovery Shop?
Absolutely! Please visit our website for information on our opening hours, as they change throughout the year.
Can I visit the Discovery Shop without purchasing an admissions ticket?
Yes, we encourage walk-in visits!
Can I make a corporate order?
Yes, we welcome corporate orders! The Discovery Shop carries items that are perfect for the classroom or for gift giving. Show your appreciation to employees and colleagues during the holidays or any special occasion. We also have a selection of conference gifting ideas for special guests or speakers. For inquiries or gifting ideas, please contact us.
Do you offer local delivery or pickup for the online shop?
Local pickup is available at the Fraser River Discovery Centre during our regular open hours. We cannot offer delivery at this time.
I don’t live in BC. Can you still ship to me?
We currently only ship within Canada.
What is the processing time for online orders?
Online orders usually ship within 48 hours of order confirmation. You will receive an email once your order ships.
I placed an order but can’t find the confirmation email. Where is it?
Please check your junk mail as it may have been flagged. If you still can’t find the confirmation email, please give us a call at 604-521-8401 and we’ll be happy to confirm your order and re-send the confirmation email.
We are pleased to offer free local pickup for all online orders!
Place your order.
Once your order is placed, you’ll receive an order confirmation email. Please note: your order is not ready for pick up yet!
Within 48 hours, you’ll receive an additional email confirming your order is ready. Customers who arrive prior to receiving their pickup confirmation email will be asked to return.

When can I expect my order to arrive?
We ship orders within 48 hours of the confirmation email, excluding weekends and statutory holidays. You will receive an email with a tracking number once your order has shipped.
Please note: the Discovery Shop is closed Sunday to Tuesday which may affect processing time.
Orders shipped through Canada Post typically take 5-7 business days, depending on the destination. Please be advised that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, shipments may take longer than usual. We thank you in advance for your patience.
Can I cancel my pick-up/delivery order?
Please contact us as soon as possible to cancel your order. Orders can only be cancelled before they ship.
How do I return a damaged or defective item that I picked up or had delivered?
We will gladly exchange or return defective merchandise within 21 days with a valid receipt. In order to qualify for a refund, your items must be in their original packaging, unopened, and in the same condition in which you received them. Please contact us so that we may assist you in arranging a return. We are unable to refund shipping charges for your order. If a product is damaged during shipping, you must file a damage claim with the shipper as we do not insure shipments without special request. Refused orders are subject to full shipping charges.
