*Click* Photos of the Fraser invites photographers to submit photographs that capture the life of the Fraser River and the basin. This year, the FRDC is excited to extend its collaboration with the New Westminster Photography Club and invite both its members and the general public to contribute to this year’s exhibit! The theme for this year is “Four Seasons”.

xʷtatəl̕ləm

Since 2021, the Fraser River Discovery Centre has been working to develop xʷtatəl̕ləm, a place of learning about the Indigenous heritage and teachings of the river. This exhibit was developed in collaboration with Musqueam Archives and shares teachings, histories, and belongings connected to Musqueam village sites by the lower Fraser River. The story is told in the first-person perspective of Musqueam community members.

We invite you to look for these panels throughout this floor and explore our sniw̓ (teachings), technologies, medicines, and ways of living that continue to guide us today.
