Fraser River Protectors: July 7-11 & August 5-8 

What secrets are hidden beneath the Fraser River? Join us to uncover the mysteries. We’ll explore fascinating underwater species, including the enchanting salmon and sturgeon. We’ll also examine the ecosystem that exists below the surface, along with the water cycles that support it.   

PLEASE NOTE: Due to BC Day, Fraser River Protectors will run for 4 days from August 5 to 8: $216 for members, $240 for non-members. Additional discounts still apply.  

Science of the Fraser: July 14-18 & August 11-15 

Attention all scientists! We’re putting on our safety goggles and readying our beakers for an exciting exploration. We will dive into the core elements of science including biology, chemistry, geology, and physics. Over the course of this camp, we’ll examine the Fraser River through a scientific perspective and put our skills to the test. 

Surviving the Fraser: July 21-25 & August 18-22 

The Fraser River basin is rich in resources but also presents dangers! Campers will deepen their understanding of the river basin and learn about survival techniques practiced by Indigenous peoples, both historically and today. We will explore the uses of local plants, learn to create clothing, construct shelters, and navigate the area. This experience focuses on thriving, not merely surviving! 

Underwater Adventure: July 28-August 1 and August 25-29 

The Fraser River is a remarkable source of natural beauty and resources! Our goal is to ensure this precious gem remains protected and flourishing. We’ll explore the threats faced by our cherished river—such as invasive species, pollution, and, of course, human impacts! We’ll also get hands-on and learn how we can become the heroes that safeguard these lands!
