Archaeologists in Training: March 17-21

Have you ever wondered what our ancestors were up to? Well, this spring, you can channel your inner historian and train like a real-life archaeologist! Jump into a week of camp filled with thrilling tales from yesteryear, including the wild escapades of the gold rush! Dust off those scientific skills and time-travel with the FRDC for an adventure you won’t want to miss!

Future of the Fraser: March 24-28

What would the Fraser River look like in 100 years? What about in 1 million years? This spring is your chance to design your very own futuristic city. This week of camp will look at ways we can preserve the river basin for future generations, as well as put your design skills to the challenge. Will the future of the Fraser River have flying cars? Will there be renewable energy options? Share your ideas and help to create a green and bright future.

COVID Policy

All activities include COVID-19 safety measures, including:

  • Face masks are recommended for all campers;
  • Adherence to safe physical distancing between campers whenever possible;
  • Regular cleaning and disinfecting of interactives and touchable surfaces;
  • Items are personal and for the use of each camper;
  • Hand sanitizer stations located throughout our center;
  • Campers will use the COVID-19 Self-assessment each day before attending camp.

Pricing, Hours and Policies

 

  • Member Price: $270, additional 5% off all fees when registering for more than one camp or more than one camper from the same family. Sign-up for a membership here!
  • Non-member Price: $300 per week, additional 10% off all fees when registering for more than one camp or more than one camper from the same family.
  • Face masks are recommended for all campers.
  • Camps are for children ages 6 to 11.
  • Camps are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, unless otherwise noted.
  • Each camp has a maximum of 16 campers.
  • Camps require a minimum number of campers to run and will be confirmed 2 weeks in advance.
  • You will be emailed an invoice after submitting your registration request.
  • Payment is due in full within three (days) of receiving your invoice, otherwise your spot(s) will be forfeit.
