FRASER RIVER HALL OF FAME
2026 HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE
SAAM Towage
In 1991, the Fraser River Discovery Centre Society established the Fraser River Hall of Fame to recognize and honour individuals or organizations that have made significant and noteworthy contributions to the health and sustainability of the Fraser River, its culture, people, industry and environment.
This year’s inductee is SAAM Towage, which has long-standing roots in B.C. The history of SAAM Towage can be traced back to Rivtow Marine, Tiger Tugz, and Westminster Tugboats. Rivtow was itself the amalgamation of many British Columbia towing companies dating back over 75 years.
Join us for the Fraser River Hall of Fame gala on October 20 at the D/6 Lounge at the Parq in Vancouver! Proceeds from the gala support the Centre’s education and public programs. A partial tax receipt will be issued to ticket holders after the event.
