Plant Pressing Workshop

In this hands-on workshop, we’ll discuss plant collecting and pressing, including responsible and ethical collecting and cultural considerations. Learn key techniques for pressing and preserving plants and get an overview of how to use these methods for fun, sustainable crafts, and educational purposes. Practice pressing and drying a plant in your own plant press! She’ll also share ideas for crafting with your pressings at home. Finally, you’ll create a small craft with dried pressed leaves and flowers to take home.
