Come and meet up to 12,000 crows!

Crows have fascinated people around the world for hundreds of years. We in the Lower Mainland can get a first-hand experience with these amazing birds at their Burnaby roost, the dusk-to-dawn home during the fall and winter for up to 12,000 crows.

We are delighted that SFU Adjunct Professor and crow expert Dr. Rob Butler will be joining us for a “walk and talk” about our local crow population as part of our BioDiversity Speaker Series. Note that only 50 spots are available for this event for organizational purposes.

The event will be on Saturday, October 12 from 630 – 800 pm. Tickets can be purchased by clicking on https://eventbrite.ca/e/come-and-meet-up-to-12000-crows-tickets-7004… or by calling 604-521-8401.

Net proceeds of this event will be shared between the Fraser River Discovery Center Society and the Pacific Wildlife Foundation.

Note that we will meet in the McDonald’s parking lot, but there is limited parking in the area. However, there is a skytrain station a few blocks away. Please factor that into your plans.
