River Basin Days is a monthly series of outdoor public programs geared towards families. Join us at different locations around the Fraser River Basin as we explore this incredible watershed! Our staff will guide you through 1-hour of activities, experiments, and art projects as we learn about the biodiversity of this great river.

This month’s River Basin Days workshop is part of the City Nature Challenge, a global bioblitz where cities compete to see who can make the most observations in a four-day period. Every observation collected during this period is used for monitoring biodiversity and ecological research! Join us on April 26th at Campbell Valley Regional Park in Langley as we learn more about insects and submit observations to iNaturalist!
This event is free, but registration is still required.
WHEN: Saturday, April 26th, 2:00-3:00 PM.
WHERE: Campbell Valley Regional Park, Langley, BC (meeting location at South Valley Entrance parking lot, near the Old Orchard Picnic Shelter)
WHAT:
- Learn about insects and their amazing features.
- Make observations about insects and their habitats through journals and guides.
- Document observations using iNaturalist.
WHO: While everyone is welcome, this workshop is aimed at children and their families.
COST: This event is free.

- Individual group size is limited to five (5) maximum. Workshop registration limited to five (5) groups.
