Fraser River Dialogue: Land Use

“Industrial, Residential and Agricultural Land -
What is the best balance of land use for the Fraser River?"

All land in the Fraser River basin is important for economic, environmental and socio-cultural reasons. However, there is only so much of it, and as a result the pressures – and costs – around how to best use Fraser River land are growing significantly.

The Fraser River Discovery Centre has invited parties interested in industrial, residential and agricultural land use for a panel discussion and conversation on the significant issue of Fraser River Land Use.

Our tentative date for this important Dialogue is November 2018.

Tickets to this event will include:

  • wine and cheese reception (no-host bar)
  • self-guided tour of the new working river exhibit Journey Through the Working River
  • a seat at the fire-side chat

    Date: TBC
    Where: Fraser River Discovery Centre
