We will join Dr. Richardson at Surrey Bend Regional Park on Sunday, April 29th for a “walk and talk” that will focus on the fish and invertebrates of the Lower Fraser River.

University of British Columbia Professor John Richardson looks at how foodwebs of streams and riparian (streamside) areas function and how they are connected across the water-land boundary. His research addresses questions about the biodiversity and ecosystem services of stream and riparian area communities, and how various land-use practices affect those organisms and services.
