Introducing the Fraser River Dialogue Series!

In 2017, the Fraser River Discovery Centre (FRDC) launched the Fraser River Dialogues. Their purpose is to engage interested parties on Fraser River issues and opportunities:

o from a fact-based, triple-bottom line perspective that is apolitical and non-ideological;
o through an approach to dialogue and information exchange that is open and positive; and
o in an environment that is respectful and safe for all questions, comments and opinions.

The Dialogue series is consistent with the FRDC’s role as the “Voice of the Fraser” and our commitment to being a convenor on all aspects related the living, working Fraser River.

The Dialogues use a “fire-side” chat format, rather than the traditional “power point” presentation. I have a conversation with our guests, who are able to speak on the topic from an environmental, social and/or economic perspective. That is followed by a facilitated Q&A with the audience.
